It was predictable as Blake Griffin suffering the Clipper curse that the LA Lakers were going to coast through the season, switch the ON button in the playoffs and reach the finals. What was not expected was the Boston Celtics meeting them there.

The defending NBA champs gave their fans quite a scare in the first round. Many thought that the Oklahoma City Thunder would run the Lakers out of the gym with their speed and athleticism. But after the Lakers trumped the Thunder, it was smooth sailing. They swept the Jazz and ousted the Suns in 6. Now they face their rivals, the Boston Celtics.

Kobe Bryant dropped 40 on the Suns to lead the LA Lakers to a 1-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals. The Lakers beat the Suns at their own game by getting out on fast-breaks. The Magic dropped another game to the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics’ now lead the series 2-0. Show your support for the NBA team you’re rooting for by decorating your kids bedroom with our NBA bedding. No doubt your kid will be the coolest one on the block.

The Cleveland Cavaliers were ousted by the Boston Celtics in six games to set up a meeting with the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference finals. The Phoenix Suns and LA Lakers will renew their rivalry in the Western Conference finals. Only four teams remain and only two will survive to make it to the NBA Finals. Let’s hope all the LeBron “Drama King” James talk doesn’t take the spotlight away from some exciting playoff basketball.
