The Giants, Redskins, Bears and Packers won their first games of the season. Let’s take a look at the top performers for each of the teams.

The NFC East is the most competitive division in the league with four teams that have experience and talent.

The Patriots are still the best in their division but there was obvious slippage last season. If they’re not careful the Jets are ready to take their spot. Miami QB Chad Henne will be tested this season and the Bills can only hope to win the draft rights for the top pick in 2011.

The AFC North is one of the most competitive divisions in the NFL. The Bengals added Terrell Owens, the Ravens have revamped their offense and the Steelers welcomed back a healthy Troy Polamalu. It’ll be exciting to see who comes out on top.

Given that Peyton Manning is not abducted by aliens or unable to play in a game because of commercial obligations, the Indianapolis Colts are still the top team in their division. The Texans, Titans and Jaguars are simply going to have to settle for second.
