Tonight, the Dallas Cowboys host the Tennessee Titans to initiate their new digs. And in true Dallas and Jerry Jones style, they’re some fancy digs. Costing a mere $1.15 billion and showing off a high-def, widescreen video board that’s 60 yards wide, one can only say “wow”!
Okay, so the new Cowboys Stadium has hosted some other events this summer, but Cowboys football is what it was built for…hence the stadium name. It may only be a preseason game, but this is the first time the Cowboys have played a home game outside of Texas Stadium since 1971. This is a pretty big event for Cowboys fans, and they’re excited.
Fans attending tonight’s game may miss out on seeing the starters play because they’re too busy checking out the new stadium.
Now we’ll see if the Cowboys’ new home will inspire them to go all the way this season.
And I think I can see the video screen from my house!
If you’re one of the many Cowboys fans out there, prepare for this historical season with some Dallas Cowboys merchandise. And if you want something as stylish as their new stadium, show off with one of these Dallas Cowboys watches.
