Brett Favre is Back (Again) and He’s a Minnesota Viking

Football season is upon us and what better way to usher it in than with the traditional Brett Favre’s “will he or won’t he”.

For those of you that haven’t heard (I know, who hasn’t heard), Brett Favre made it official yesterday that he will play for the Minnesota Vikings this year. Not only is he back, but he’s back in the division of his old team, to a big rival of the Packers. Interesting.

It’s kind of funny, just a few days ago I was joking with my son about this. He was ready to go ahead and do our family fantasy football draft, but I told him we needed to hold off a bit, because we don’t even know some of the starting quarterbacks. I then went on to joke that, “Who knows? Brett Favre could still come back.” The next day, the Brett Favre comeback news stories started up again.
